Meetings carry contracts, diagnoses and personal stories. Here is how Lalinde protects them, in plain language, including the things we are still building.
Las reuniones llevan contratos, diagnósticos e historias personales. Así las protege Lalinde, en lenguaje sencillo, incluido lo que todavía estamos construyendo.
Signalling and chat use TLS 1.2 or higher. Audio and video use DTLS-SRTP, the standard for encrypted real-time media.

Recordings and transcripts, when enabled, are stored encrypted, with access limited to the people your organisation authorises.

Translation needs your speech for a moment, not forever. Live audio is processed and dropped; nothing is kept unless the host chooses.
La traducción necesita su voz por un instante, no para siempre. El audio en vivo se procesa y se descarta; no se guarda nada salvo que el anfitrión lo decida.
Translation and end-to-end encryption pull in different directions.

To translate speech, a system has to understand it. Where a device is powerful enough, recognition happens on the device itself. Otherwise, encrypted audio is processed by Lalinde’s translation service, which is designed so that our staff cannot listen in, and nothing is retained by default.
Para traducir la voz, un sistema tiene que entenderla. Cuando el dispositivo tiene la capacidad suficiente, el reconocimiento ocurre en el propio dispositivo. Si no, el audio cifrado lo procesa el servicio de traducción de Lalinde, diseñado para que nuestro personal no pueda escuchar, y sin conservar nada por defecto.
For conversations that must be end-to-end encrypted, we are building a mode in which translation is switched off for that meeting. We would rather tell you this clearly than blur it.
Para conversaciones que deben ir cifradas de extremo a extremo, estamos construyendo un modo en el que la traducción se apaga para esa reunión. Preferimos decirlo con claridad antes que dejarlo en la ambigüedad.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer meetings to train models without explicit, separate consent from the organisation.

LALINDE JA S.A.S. is designing Lalinde to comply with Colombia’s personal-data framework, Ley 1581 de 2012 and its regulations, including the rights of access, correction and deletion. Because our users meet across Latin America and the United States, we are also designing with international privacy rules such as the GDPR and the CCPA in mind. For organisations elsewhere, we will support the data-protection terms their own regulations require.

Como nuestros usuarios se reúnen entre América Latina y Estados Unidos, también diseñamos teniendo en cuenta normas internacionales de privacidad como el RGPD y la CCPA. Para organizaciones de otros países, atenderemos las condiciones de protección de datos que exija su propia normativa.
